When you enquire about a project, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, email address, whether you are enquiring as a couple or planner, and any wedding date, location, guest estimate, business details, or message you choose to provide. We also keep a reference and the time of your enquiry so we can respond and manage the request.
When we build or support a wedding website, information may include names and contact details for invited guests, event access, RSVP responses, meal or dietary choices, seating assignments, guest messages, and check-in status. The exact details depend on the tools the couple or planner asks us to set up.
Our public site uses page-view analytics when analytics is configured. This can include the page viewed, page title, page address, and technical information handled by the analytics provider, such as browser or device details.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to enquiries and discuss project scope and pricing;
- design, build, host, maintain, and support wedding websites and guest tools;
- help couples and planners manage invitations, RSVPs, guest details, and seating;
- secure the service, troubleshoot problems, and prevent misuse;
- understand how people use our public pages and improve them; and
- meet legal obligations and resolve service or privacy requests.
We do not sell personal information or use wedding guest lists for targeted advertising.
Wedding guest information
Couples and planners decide which guest details to provide and how to use them for their celebration. We use those details to provide and support the website and tools they request. If you are a wedding guest and want to change an RSVP or ask how your hosts are using your details, please contact the couple or planner first. You can also contact us with a question about how the service handles information.
Please provide only the guest information needed to run the event. Meal and dietary notes can sometimes reveal sensitive information, so avoid adding details that are not necessary for the celebration.
Service providers and storage
Our public website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. The service API runs on Render and uses a separately hosted PostgreSQL database. We use Firebase Analytics on public pages when it is enabled in our configuration. These providers may process information on our behalf to operate their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect the service and its users.
Provider locations depend on deployment and database settings. Information may be processed or stored outside your province or country, where privacy laws may differ. Contact us if you need details about the configuration used for a particular project.
Analytics and browser storage
The service uses necessary browser storage to support functions such as invitation access and sign-in. When Firebase Analytics is configured for the public site, it records page views so we can understand site usage. Analytics may use cookies or similar browser technologies. You can manage cookies and storage through your browser settings, though some service features may not work as intended if necessary storage is blocked.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information while it is needed to respond, manage a potential or current client relationship, and meet applicable legal or business record requirements. Wedding guest information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide and support the requested service. A couple or planner can ask us to remove guest information when it is no longer needed. If a provider maintains backups, deleted information may remain in those backups until they expire under the provider’s retention settings.
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires it.

Security and updates
We use safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as our practices change.
